- Whitfield is located at 27°24′N 82°34′W. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.2 square miles (8.3 km²), of which 2.9 square miles (7.5 km²) is land and 0.3 square miles (0.78 km²) (9.65%) is water.
