Apple Music is a streaming service developed by Apple Inc. that allows users to browse and listen to a library of over 70 million songs, as well as podcasts and music videos. It was announced on June 8, 2015, and launched on June 30 in over 100 countries worldwide.

Apple Inc. announced Apple Music at its Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2015. The service was a result of Apple's acquisition of Beats Electronics in 2014, which included the Beats Music streaming service. Apple Music was launched on June 30, 2015, in over 100 countries worldwide.

Apple Music allows users to stream songs to listen to on demand and offers curated playlists. The service includes the internet radio station Beats 1, which broadcasts live to over 100 countries 24 hours a day. The service also includes the blog platform Connect, which allows artists to share their posts, photos, videos, and tracks with subscribers.

Apple Music received mixed reviews at launch. Some praised its discovery-oriented design, while others criticized its user interface. Despite the mixed reviews, Apple Music quickly gained millions of subscribers, reaching 10 million in just six months.
