Halfway House, Pennsylvania is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 2,667.

Geography[edit | edit source]

Halfway House is located at 40°13′28″N 75°23′14″W (40.224444, -75.387222). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.6 km2), all of it land.

Demographics[edit | edit source]

As of the census of 2000, there were 2,667 people, 1,092 households, and 728 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 2,667.0 people per square mile (1,030.0/km²). There were 1,092 housing units at an average density of 1,092.0/sq mi (421.0/km²).

Education[edit | edit source]

Halfway House is served by the Perkiomen Valley School District. Schools in this district include Perkiomen Valley High School, Perkiomen Valley Middle School East, and Perkiomen Valley Middle School West.

Transportation[edit | edit source]

The community is served by several major roads, including Pennsylvania Route 29 and Pennsylvania Route 113.
