Annie's Homegrown is an American-based company that produces organic food products. The company was founded in 1989 by Annie Withey and Andrew Martin, who were part of the organic farming movement in the 1980s. Annie Withey and Andrew Martin founded Annie's Homegrown in 1989 in Hampton, Connecticut. The company started with a single product, Annie's Macaroni and Cheese, which was made using organic pasta and real cheese. The product was a success, and the company expanded its product line to include other organic food products.

In 1999, Annie's Homegrown was acquired by Homegrown Naturals, a company founded by John Foraker. Under Foraker's leadership, Annie's Homegrown continued to expand its product line and increase its distribution. In 2014, the company was acquired by General Mills for $820 million.
