Bracken Health Sciences Library

Bracken Health Sciences Library is a medical library located within the Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. It is named after Dr. Douglas Bracken, a former dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the university. The library primarily serves the students, faculty, and staff of the Faculty of Health Sciences, which includes the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and School of Rehabilitation Therapy.

The Bracken Health Sciences Library was established in 1969, following the expansion of the Faculty of Health Sciences. The library was named in honor of Dr. Douglas Bracken, who served as the dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences from 1961 to 1971.

The library houses a comprehensive collection of medical literature, including books, journals, and electronic resources. The collection is particularly strong in the areas of medicine, nursing, and rehabilitation therapy. The library also provides access to a wide range of databases, including PubMed, CINAHL, and Embase.
