Canadian Mist

Canadian Mist is a brand of whisky that was first distilled in 1967 by the Barton Brands distillery. The whisky is produced in Collingwood, Ontario, at the Canadian Mist Distillery.

The Canadian Mist brand was introduced in 1967 by Barton Brands, which was later acquired by the Sazerac Company. The whisky is made using a blend of grains, including barley, rye, and corn, and is aged in white oak barrels.

Canadian Mist is produced using a process that involves several stages. The grains are first milled and then mixed with water to create a mash. This mash is then fermented, a process that converts the sugars in the grains into alcohol. The fermented mash is then distilled to increase the alcohol content. The distilled spirit is then aged in white oak barrels for a period of time to develop its flavor.
