From WikiMD's Food, Medicine & Wellness Encyclopedia

Ciel is a brand of bottled water owned by The Coca-Cola Company. It was introduced in Mexico in 1996, and is now available in several countries in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. Ciel offers both still and sparkling water, as well as flavored water products.

History[edit | edit source]

Ciel was launched in Mexico in 1996 by The Coca-Cola Company, in response to the growing demand for bottled water products. The brand quickly gained popularity and expanded to other markets in Central and South America.

Products[edit | edit source]

Ciel offers a range of water products, including still water, sparkling water, and flavored water. The flavored water products are available in a variety of flavors, such as lemon, strawberry, and peach.

Market[edit | edit source]

Ciel is one of the leading bottled water brands in Mexico and is also popular in several other countries in Central and South America. The brand's success can be attributed to its high-quality products and strong marketing efforts by The Coca-Cola Company.

Environmental Impact[edit | edit source]

Like all bottled water brands, Ciel has an environmental impact. The production and disposal of plastic bottles contribute to plastic pollution, and the extraction of water can deplete local water resources. However, The Coca-Cola Company has implemented several initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of its products, including Ciel.
