Coca-Cola Company is an American multinational beverage corporation and manufacturer, retailer, and marketer of nonalcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups. The company is best known for its flagship product Coca-Cola, invented in 1886 by pharmacist John Stith Pemberton in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Coca-Cola Company was incorporated in Atlanta, Georgia in 1892 with Asa Griggs Candler, a local pharmacist, as the first president. Candler, who was an early investor in John Pemberton's invention, purchased the brand and formula for Coca-Cola from Pemberton and his partners and incorporated the Coca-Cola Company as a Georgia Corporation.

The Coca-Cola Company offers more than 500 brands in over 200 countries, including its namesake Coca-Cola beverage. Other Coca-Cola products include Diet Coke, Coca-Cola Zero, Sprite, Fanta, and Dasani water.

The Coca-Cola Company has been known for its marketing campaigns. The company's advertising has significantly affected American culture, and it is frequently credited with inventing the modern image of Santa Claus as an old man in a red-and-white suit.

The Coca-Cola Company has been involved in a number of controversies and lawsuits related to its relationship with human rights violations, including child labor in third world countries, environmental issues, and health effects of its products.
