Connecticut Children's Medical Center

Connecticut Children's Medical Center is a non-profit, pediatric acute care hospital located in Hartford, Connecticut. It is nationally ranked and independent, providing comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties to patients aged 0-21. The hospital has 185 beds and serves as the primary pediatric teaching affiliate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. It is also a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center. The hospital was originally established as the Newington Children's Hospital in 1898 and became Connecticut Children's Medical Center in 1996.
