Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP) is an international organization that promotes and enhances the art of photography and photographic services. It was established in 1950 and is currently headquartered in Luxembourg.

The Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique was founded in 1950 by M. Van de Wijer of Belgium. The organization was created with the aim of promoting and enhancing the art of photography and photographic services. Over the years, FIAP has grown to become a global organization with member associations in more than 85 countries.

FIAP's main objectives are to promote photography as an art form and to foster international relations amongst photographers. This is achieved through the organization of international competitions, exhibitions, and congresses. FIAP also provides a platform for photographers to exchange ideas and experiences, and to learn from each other.

FIAP is governed by a board of directors, which is elected by the member associations. The board is responsible for the overall management and direction of the organization. The day-to-day operations of FIAP are managed by the Secretariat, which is based in Luxembourg.

FIAP awards several distinctions to photographers for their artistic and technical achievements. These include the FIAP Blue Badge for the best author in FIAP salons, the FIAP Gold Medal for the best work in a category, and the FIAP Platinum Medal for the best work in a theme.
