iPhone 7 is a smartphone designed and marketed by Apple Inc.. It was announced on September 7, 2016, as the successor to the iPhone 6S, and was released on September 16, 2016. The iPhone 7 significantly improved upon the hardware specifications and features of its predecessor, introducing a new water and dust resistance rating of IP67, a static home button designed to be durable and pressure sensitive, and removed the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Design

The design of the iPhone 7 retains the overall shape of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S, but introduces notable changes.
