JBS USA is a leading global food company that processes, prepares, packages, and delivers fresh, further-processed, and value-added beef, pork, and poultry products. The company is a subsidiary of JBS S.A., a Brazilian company that is one of the world's largest meat processors.

JBS S.A. acquired Swift & Company, a U.S. beef and pork processor, in 2007, marking the company's entry into the U.S. market. The acquisition was part of JBS S.A.'s global expansion strategy. The company was renamed JBS USA later that year.
