Kövérszőlő is a grape variety native to the Carpathian Basin, primarily found in Hungary and also in some regions of Slovakia, Romania, and Serbia. It is known for its versatility, being used in the production of both table grapes and wine. The name "Kövérszőlő" translates to "fat grape" in English, referring to the grape's large, plump berries.
