Kevin C. Kiley is a retired United States Army Lieutenant General who served as the 41st Surgeon General of the United States Army. He was born on October 18, 1950, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Kiley's career in the military spanned over three decades, during which he held various significant positions in the field of military medicine.

Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]

Kiley graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1972. He then attended the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College, where he earned his M.D. degree in 1976. Following medical school, Kiley completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
