The Sphincter of Oddi is located at the junction where the bile duct and the pancreatic duct merge and enter the duodenum. Function

The primary function of the Sphincter of Oddi is to regulate the flow of bile and pancreatic juice from the gallbladder and pancreas into the small intestine.
