Panixine DisperDose is a brand name for the antibiotic Cephalexin, which is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It belongs to a class of antibiotics known as cephalosporins, which work by stopping the growth of bacteria.

Panixine DisperDose is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. This medication is known as a cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). Unnecessary use or misuse of any antibiotic can lead to its decreased effectiveness.

Side Effects[edit | edit source]

Common side effects of Panixine DisperDose include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, and abdominal pain. More serious side effects can include easy bruising or bleeding, persistent nausea or vomiting, yellowing eyes or skin, dark urine, new signs of infection (such as persistent sore throat, fever), and unusual tiredness.

Precautions[edit | edit source]

Before taking Panixine DisperDose, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to penicillins or other cephalosporins; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.
