History[edit | edit source]

Rangamati Medical College was inaugurated with the aim of improving healthcare services in the Chittagong Hill Tracts, a region that has historically been underserved in terms of medical facilities and professionals. The establishment of the college was part of a broader government initiative to expand medical education and healthcare services across Bangladesh, especially in rural and underserved areas.
