Saladworks is an American-based fast-casual restaurant franchise that specializes in made-to-order salads. The company was founded in 1986 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and has since expanded to over 100 locations across the United States and internationally.

Saladworks was founded by John Scardapane in 1986. The first location was opened in the Cherry Hill Mall, the success of which led to additional locations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. In 2008, Saladworks began its international expansion with the opening of its first overseas outlet in Singapore.

Menu[edit | edit source]

Saladworks' menu primarily consists of custom-made, tossed-to-order salads. Customers can choose from a variety of fresh ingredients, including various types of lettuce, vegetables, fruits, cheeses, dressings, and proteins. In addition to salads, the restaurant also offers soups, sandwiches, and wraps.

Saladworks operates on a franchise model. As of 2020, the company has over 100 franchise locations in the United States and internationally. The company provides training, marketing support, and operational guidance to its franchisees.

Saladworks has been recognized for its commitment to healthy eating and has received numerous awards for its salads. In 2012, it was named the nation's number one salad franchise by Entrepreneur Magazine.
