Satkhira Medical College (SaMC) is a government medical college located in Satkhira, Bangladesh. It offers a five-year course of study leading to a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. The college is affiliated with the University of Rajshahi and is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BM&DC).

Satkhira Medical College was established to provide quality medical education and to address the shortage of healthcare professionals in the Satkhira District and the surrounding regions. The college admitted its first batch of students in the academic year.

1. Pre-clinical (Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry) 2. Para-clinical (Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, and Community Medicine) 3. Clinical Phase I (Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and their allied subjects) 4. Clinical Phase II (Specialized training in Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and their allied subjects)

Admission to Satkhira Medical College is highly competitive, with candidates selected based on their performance in the Medical Admission Test conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Bangladesh. The test assesses the candidates' knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English.

Satkhira Medical College provides a range of facilities to its students, including a well-stocked library, modern laboratories, and a hospital with a capacity to cater to the healthcare needs of the local population.
