History[edit | edit source]

Helen Yung and Jan Wichayanuparp left their careers in investment banking to pursue their passion for ice cream. Products[edit | edit source]

Sweet Republic offers a variety of ice cream flavors, including classics like vanilla and chocolate, as well as more unique options like Szechuan pepper chocolate and blue cheese with honey. The shop also offers a selection of sorbets and gelatos.

In addition to ice cream, Sweet Republic also sells a variety of other sweet treats, including cookies, brownies, and caramel sauce. All of these products are made in-house, using the same commitment to local ingredients as the ice cream.

Sweet Republic has received numerous awards and accolades for its ice cream. In 2010, it was named one of the 10 best ice cream shops in America by Bon Appétit. In 2013, it was featured on the Food Network show Best Thing I Ever Ate.
