Travelport is a travel technology company based in the United Kingdom. It provides distribution, technology, payment and other solutions for the global travel and tourism industry. The company also facilitates travel commerce by connecting the world’s leading travel providers with online and offline travel buyers in a proprietary business-to-business (B2B) travel platform.

Travelport has a leadership position in airline merchandising, hotel content and distribution, car rental, mobile commerce and B2B payment solutions. The company also provides critical IT services to airlines, such as shopping, ticketing, departure control and other solutions. With net revenue of over $2.5 billion in 2018, Travelport operates in approximately 180 countries and has over 4,000 employees.

Travelport was formed in August 2006, when Cendant Corporation, a provider of travel and real estate services, separated its travel distribution services division. The company was subsequently acquired by Blackstone Group, a private equity firm, in a leveraged buyout.

In 2007, Travelport acquired Worldspan, a major GDS provider. This acquisition expanded Travelport's reach in the global travel industry and added to its portfolio of travel technology solutions.

In 2014, Travelport went public on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "TVPT".

  • Travelport Universal API: This is a key product that allows travel agencies to access a wide range of content from multiple sources through a single API.
  • Travelport Smartpoint: An innovative point of sale solution that helps travel agencies to increase productivity and revenue.
  • Travelport Mobile Agent: A mobile app that provides travel agents with full access to the Travelport GDS platform from their mobile devices.
  • Travelport Hotelzon: A leading hotel distribution technology for corporates, providing access to over 300,000 hotels worldwide.
