Baked english omelet (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 4-5 per serving.
Recipe instructions
- Beat eggs with a whisk until smooth. Beat in the milk.
- Stir in the seasonings, Cheddar cheese, onion and bacon. Set aside.
- Melt butter in a 9-inch fry pan. Saute the onion, red pepper and mushrooms until the onions are soft and the mushrooms have given up their liquid.
- Pour egg mixture over the cooked vegetables.
- Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese.
- Bakeat 400 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes or until set and golden. Don't over-cook.
- Serve immediately.
