Auntie's homemade dressing (recipe)


  1. Prepare cornbread, let cool, crumble, and place in large bowl.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 8F.
  3. Chop onion and celery.
  4. Heat the oil and sautv onion, celery, and sage for about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Mix cornbread and sautv ed mixture.
  6. Stir in chicken broth, egg, salt, and pepper.
  7. Using a fork to toss mixture.
  8. Spoon the dressing into a greased 9x13-inch pan and spread evenly.
  9. Bakefor 45 minutes or until top is golden brown.
